Last night on Top Chef Boston 2015, it was a pretty simple concept: the chefs were to cook the four best dishes of their lives for the judges! Well, it may seem like a pretty simple concept to us, but it definitely was not a simple task for Mei and Gregory! They had the help of two eliminated chefs this season, who would serve as their sous chefs.
The judges seemed to be impressed by both of the chefs and both of their final dishes blew the judges away! The judges also had flaws with some of the dishes as well. This was a tossup and I wasn’t quite sure what direction they were going to go. In the end, the judges picked Mei Lin as the winner of Top Chef Boston 2015!
Gregory tried to embrace the new ingredients he discovered in Mexico and while it worked for some of the dishes, I think it was his downfall also. The flavors were a little off in the one dish and had he cooked with the ingredients before he would have been better prepared!
